About Us
When Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. broke his silence and came out affirmatively against the Vietnam War he simply stated: “A time comes when silence is betrayal.” We believe that time has come for us all.
For almost 2000 years , the social and political change of the Church has largely been the province of paid professionals. Now is the time for laymen and the businessmen and women of our generation to join others of like minds and respond to the resounding echo of Dr. King’s words to break our silence.
We believe we can do this by being a community committed to loving our enemies, honoring the poor and choosing the way of the cross over the way of the world.
We are a ragtag group of men and women from a diverse background of “religious” experiences seeking to be a truly ecumenical representation of God’s Kingdom on earth.
